The difference between 2210 yellow varnished silk and 2310 oil varnished silk

The full name of 2210 yellow varnished silk is 2210 real silk oil lacquered silk cloth, and the full name of 2310 oil varnished silk is 2310 nylon spinning oil lacquered silk cloth. From its name, the important difference between the two we can see is the substrate. 2210 yellow varnished silk substrate is natural mulberry silk, 2310 oil varnished silk substrate is rayon nylon spinning. The elongation and shrinkage of the two performance indicators are also different:

1. The elongation is not the same: 2210 yellow varnished silk elongation is 1%, 2310 oil varnished silk elongation is 4%.

2. The shrinkage rate is not the same: The shrinkage rate of 2210 yellow varnished silk is low, and does not deform when applied at 105℃; 2310 oil varnished silk has a high shrinkage rate and will deform when applied at 105℃.

Since the appearance is almost identical, how to identify which one is 2210 yellow varnished silk? Which one is 2310 oil varnished silk? A very simple method is to use fire test to distinguish: use a lighter to ignite a section of the sample and see the result after burning.

If there is no residue after burning, and you can smell burnt hair, it is 2210 yellow varnished silk; And 2310 oil varnished silk will shrink together and create a small pimple after burning.
