PMP Insulation Paper Introduction and Production Process

What is PMP Insulation Paper?

PMP Insulation Paper is an economical electrical insulation material suitable for special voltage transformers, especially B-class motors and other electrical insulation.
PMP is a three-layer flexible composite material, produced by adhesive to adhere the two sides of polyester film with capacitor paper.

What are the features of PMP Insulation Paper?

1.Wear resistance and fatigue resistance: PMP insulation paper has good wear resistance and fatigue resistance, and can withstand certain mechanical stress and wear.

2.Excellent electrical performance: PMP insulation paper has good electrical insulation performance, which can effectively isolate the conductive part of the electrical equipment to prevent leakage or breakdown.
3.Chemical resistance: PMP insulation paper is strong chemical resistance and can maintain stable performance in a certain corrosive medium.
4.High temperature heat resistance: PMP insulation paper has excellent high temperature heat resistance and can work stably at higher temperatures for a long time. It usually can withstand temperatures of more than 200 ° C.
5. Pollution-free: PMP insulation paper material is environmentally friendly and pollution-free and is in line with environmental protection requirements. It is suitable for various electrical equipment and electronic products insulation materials.

What are the uses of PMP Insulation Paper?

The specific application scenarios of PMP insulating paper include:

1.Motors and transformers: PMP insulating paper is widely used in the groove insulation of motors and transformers because of its good dielectric properties and mechanical strength ‌.
2.High voltage transformer: because of its excellent heat resistance and dielectric properties, PMP insulating paper is often used as a liner for high voltage transformer ‌.
3.Other electrical equipment: PMP insulating paper is also suitable for other electrical equipment requiring high insulation strength and heat resistance, to ensure the safe operation of the equipment ‌.

What is production process?

Firstly, the selection and processing of raw materials are crucial. Commonly used wood pulp or recycled pulp is used as raw material, which undergoes strict screening, cleaning, boiling, and bleaching steps to ensure the purity of the pulp. At this stage, controlling the impurity content and fiber length is crucial for the quality of the final product.

Next is the molding process. Send the processed pulp into the pulp tank and distribute it to the head of the paper machine using a pump. On the papermaking network, as water evaporates naturally and fibers interweave, pulp gradually transforms into solid paper. During this period, various additives such as fillers, whitening agents, and wetting agents can be added to optimize the properties of the insulation paper.

Once wet paper is formed, it needs to be dried. This is usually done through an oven or specialized drying equipment. By precisely regulating temperature and humidity, the moisture in the paper is effectively removed, thereby endowing the paper with necessary strength and electrical properties.

Next are further processing steps, including cutting, calendering, and longitudinal stretching. Cutting is to meet the needs of different sizes; Calendering uses hot pressing or cold pressing techniques to make the paper surface smoother; Longitudinal stretching aims to adjust internal stress, enhance mechanical strength and dimensional stability.

Finally, the product needs to undergo strict quality inspection and packaging processes. The quality inspection process will evaluate aspects such as appearance and electrical performance to ensure that each batch of products meets the standards. When packaging, the insulation paper will be cut into specified sizes and packaged, along with product detail labels.
