Diamond dotted paper Uses and performance
Diamond dotted paper is a special modified epoxy resin coated in a diamond shape on a high-performance low dielectric loss insulation paper. It can be used as turn insulation and interlayer insulation for oil-immersed power transformer coil conductors. When used, the coating begins to melt at a certain temperature during the drying process of the coil, producing an adhesion effect. As the temperature rises, it begins to solidify again, so that the adjacent layers of the winding are reliably bonded into a fixed unit. The bonding strength of the epoxy resin is sufficient to prevent the displacement of the winding layers during a short circuit, thereby ensuring the long-term mechanical and electrical properties of the insulation structure. Since the resin coating of the diamond dotted paper is in the shape of dots, it ensures the immersion of oil and the discharge of gas in the insulation material, effectively avoiding corona and partial discharge, thereby ensuring the safety and reliability of the insulation structure.
Product curing conditions
DDP Diamond dotted insulation paper is first cured at 90℃±5℃ for 3h, and then heated to 125℃±5℃ for 6h; or cured according to the curing conditions specified by both the supply and demand parties.
Storage
DDP Diamond dotted insulation paper should be stored in a dry and clean room with a temperature not higher than 25℃, and should not be placed near fire, heating or sunlight. The storage period is one year. If it exceeds the storage period, it can still be used after passing the inspection.
